How is it that Ferrari can get away with telling Massa to let Teflonso pass? Team orders are not allowed if they interfere with the results of the race. - LRT on 2010-07-25 15:25:43

FIA Ferrari International assistance will not do anything with this...... Ferrari is getting away with it.... and since it's Al(f)onso... it not goning to be any thing from FIA.... - harold's hounds on 2010-07-25 15:35:29

I'm on massa's side (amazingly enough as I've never been fond of him) but Ferrari, I guess, didnt explicitly say 'let him pass.' so they'll get away with it. Also, it puts webber's position in a little perspective. At least it's not quite that bad - Slartibartfast's eleven on 2010-07-25 15:40:35

No, they didn't say 'let him pass'. Rob said 'Alonso is faster than you. Do you understand?' Then the next lap Massa slows down to allow Teflonso to pass. It stinks! - CroF1fan on 2010-07-25 15:43:37

There were similiar situations also in Ferrari.Remember Schumacher-Barrichello in Austria! - LRT on 2010-07-25 15:44:46

It sucks for massa, and i know that he'll be crying after the race (one of the reasons i'm not that fond of him) but who would you bet on for the championship? I'd never put money on massa, he's too emotional. They obviously brought alonso in to win it, so be a cold-hearted bastard, like you know Ferrari are, what would you do? Maybe you'd let Massa win, but what if Alonso storms through the rest of the year (quite possible) and losses by 2-3 points? cold but true - Stoned Silver Racers on 2010-07-25 15:47:23

Oh, so because Ronnie Biggs robbed a train a few years back, does that mean i can do it too? NO. There were rules then, as there are rules now. You can't give team orders that will interfere with the results of a race. How about if i had a million pounds on Alonso to win???I especially like the suggestion of Eddie Jordan's. Disquallify both Ferrari cars! How is it that Ferrari can get away with telling Massa to let Teflonso pass? Team orders are not allowed if they interfere with the results of the race.

They said "let him pass" but with other words. Rob told slowly and put in the final "understand", so deserves punishment. - harold's hounds on 2010-07-25 15:56:09

F1 is a shame. I hope Ferrari be disqualified in this race. Will make me happy. - I773V37SIBL3 on 2010-07-25 16:10:35

Disgraceful result. I hope something is done about it. What about the bookies with people backing Massa. It is just wrong. It is not just team orders it is race fixing. Ferrari are back to there old ways. - Stoned Silver Racers on 2010-07-25 16:33:20

The more interviews i see with Ferrari personnel i see, the bigger the hole they dig for themselves. Luca Colajanni, head of PR, has just been seen explaining why their drivers swapped positions They were worried about the cars behind catching them. He then tries to insult our intelligence by telling us that it was the driver's decision and that it wasn't an order from the team. Do they honestly expect us to believe that ANY driver would willingly give up his position to end up with a one-two for the team, when if they had held positions, they would still have had a one-two result for the team. - Stoned Silver Racers on 2010-07-25 16:48:36
